The Major of Jazz town

The major of New Orleans attacked the federal Government and George Bush for the responce to the disaster caused by the hurricane,(while I aggree the reponce was not enough and was not well concieve before the storm hit), he also must share the blame. He also is a member of Government that did prepar the city and its resident for the potential damage of such a strong storm. He was not prepared to handle possible levee breaks, flooding and the resulting lawlessness and lack of aid to his city. So his attack against Bush was him trying to save face and push the blame onto someone else. It proves that eventhough blacks have gained some political power in their local populated areas this does not corelate to improved conditions for blacks or better governing. Blacks must stop placing blame on the Government and others for there problems always. If no one else cares for us we must care for ourselfs and take control of our destiny.
